Number of Class Meetings: 10 weeks; 2 three hour classes per week
The Medical Assistant Clinical course will include in-person lectures, hands-on procedures in medical asepsis practices, vital signs, patient examinations, medical laboratory procesures, emergency preparedness for the medical office, assisting with minor surgical procedures, physical rehabilitative assistance, and pharmacology theory and procedures. Theory will be included with each procedure.Completion of 120 hour externship required.
