Course Description:

Electrical Level I will be an introduction to safety on the job, writing a job description, terms of the trade, basic electron theory, a review of math skills, DC Theory, energy and power, electrical conductors and wire sizes, batteries, magnets and magnetic fields. Also covered are generation of electromotive force, basic understanding of motors and generators, introduction into the code book, grounding and practical writing, diagrams and switching. The class concludes with an exam. If students pass they will proceed to Electrical 2.

Now that the Auto Insurance Industry has deregulated in the State of Massachusetts, an increase number of Auto Insurers are now entering the State and there is a need for qualified licensed auto appraisers in both the Auto Body Repair and Insurance fields.
