            EMT - EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN TRAINING - The Institute for Emergency Medical Education (IEME) sponsored Emergency Medical Technician Program is an invigorating and challenging program that exceeds the mandated training requirements set forth by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services and the National Registry of EMTs. Students participate in clinical rotations at the hospital and in the field, participate in a mock extrication with simulated emergent calls while working from our ambulance.             Course Description:

            The Medical Assistant Clinical course will include hands-on procedures in medical asepsis practices, vital signs, patient examinations, medical laboratory procesures, emergency preparedness for the medical office, assisting with minor surgical procedures, physical rehabilitative assistance, and pharmacology theory and procedures. Theory will be included with each procedure.

            Mandatory Orientation: March 3, 2020.
