This 81-hour course will prepare you to take the state certification exam. Many area hospitals and nursing homes are looking for CNAs. This is a great and rewarding way to begin your health career. The Nurses’ Aide course covers basic nursing skills, personal care skills and recognition for mental health and social services needs, basic restorative services and resident rights. Employment opportunities exist at hospitals, nursing homes, home health care agencies, domiciliary care and residential care facilities. Uniforms, gait belt and certification fees are not included in tuition.

A Mantoux test is required prior to clinical rotation.

Clinical hours 4:30 - 7:30pm. You must be able to lift, push, move and turn at least 50 lbs. Final acceptance depends upon an acceptable CORI. No refunds are given due to an unacceptable CORI.

The primary responsibility of a phlebotomist is to obtain blood specimens from clients for the purpose of laboratory analysis.
