Office Hours

Monday through Thursday, 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm
School closed on legal holidays (and occasionally for weather).
Hours will vary during school vacation weeks; check with the office.

Summer hours: The office is closed from late June through the end of July. Hours for the month of August are during the day and will be posted.

What To Do the First Night of Class

If you need directions to Upper Cape Tech, see directions. Drive up the hill and past the school building to the student/faculty parking area to the left of the main school building. Come in the side door of the school building. The school office is located at the end of the hallway on the right. Please stop in the school office for directions to your classroom.

If there is a book to be purchased for your class, you will be able to purchase it in the school office.

Please note any instructions on the confirmation you receive in the mail. If you need to bring any supplies to class, it will be noted on the confirmation.

Confirmations

If you register on-line, normally an email confirmation is sent within one business day after receipt of your registration, so please provide an email address with your registration. Confirmations are also normally mailed within one week of receipt of your registration, unless you register less than one week before the class begins. If a class you have registered for is full, we will notify you as soon as possible after receipt of your registration.

If classes need to be cancelled due to inclement weather or other conditions beyond our control, the cancellations will be announced on:

Parking

The parking area is located to the left of the school building in the faculty/student parking lot. You may enter and exit the building through the side door that opens into the parking lot. Please do not park in front of the building (except for cars with a handicapped permit), around the driveways, on the grass, or on the roads leading into and out of the parking lot.

Refund Policy

Unless otherwise noted, tuition will be refunded, less a $25 processing fee, if the student withdraws before the first class meets. The $10 registration fee is also non-refundable.

If Upper Cape Tech cancels a class, the student receives a full refund.

Registration Fee

A $10 registration fee is due once per term per student. This fee is refundable ONLY if the course you enroll in is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment.

Tuition Discounts

  • Payment Plans are available for many health career courses that have tuition costs of over $349. Email us or telephone 508-759-7711 x4 for details.

Methods of Payment

For telephone, on-line, and fax registrations we accept:

MasterCard      and       Visa

For mail registrations, in addition to the above, we accept personal checks or money orders.

For in person registrations, in addition to the above, we accept cash (for the exact amount please, no change is available in the office).

Food/Beverages

Enjoy a snack or beverage from our vending machines located in the school's cafeteria. Food and drinks are prohibited in the classrooms.

Tobacco, Alcohol and Drug Policy

Absolutely no drugs, alcohol or smoking allowed in the building or on school grounds. Use of tobacco products is strictly prohibited anywhere in the school or outside the building on school grounds.

Fire

In the event that the school's fire alarm is sounded, students and staff are to immediately evacuate the building using the quickest exit route. The best exit route is posted in each classroom.

School Holidays and Vacation

The evening school is closed and classes do not meet on scheduled Upper Cape Tech holidays. Scheduled UCT holidays are: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents' Day, Patriots' Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.

With some exceptions, evening classes do not meet during school vacation weeks; check with the school office or your instructor as to the exact schedule of your class. School vacation weeks occur during December, February, and April; inquire with the Continuing Education office (508-759-7711 x4) or the instructor of your class for the dates.

Upper Cape Tech night classes do not meet during the summer. We offer two semesters per year. Our fall semester typically runs from early September through mid-December. Our winter/spring semester typically runs from early January through the end of May.
