This two-hour online seminar will cut through the jargon and give step by step guidance on how the federal CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief & Economic Security) Act works for non-profits. Learn the mechanics of applying for a loan under the Paycheck Protection Program, which covers non-profits and includes emergency loans with forgiveness options for monthly operating expenses. Discussion includes other options for alternative funding. Personalized one on one or small group assistance is available for attendees who would like technical support on their non-profitís application.

INSTRUCTOR: Patricia Mitrokostas has more than twenty-five years successful experience in fundraising, strategic planning,
and program development with recognized strengths in team building, public relations, grant writing, formulating business and community partnerships. Ms. Mitrokostas spent the last seven years working for Gosnold Treatment Center first as the Director of Prevention, and most recently as the Director of Public Relations & Organizational Advancement. Patricia spent twelve years in job training and education programs on Cape Cod and New Bedford, including serving as the Deputy Director of the City of New Bedfordís job training program, New Directions.
