Cooking with Whole Foods - The focus will teach the developing Whole Foodie how to balance the flavors (salt, sweet, sour, bitter, and pungent and astringent) by incorporating them into delicious meals with supportive health properties.  
Students will discover their own innate taste buds and create dishes with natural salts, salt substitutes, and natural sugars, and they learn how to minimize the use of processed ingredients.  Students learn to optimize flavor/tast for various
health concerns.  The class will discuss how to adjust favorite recipes and create tasty dishes of healthy sweets and salts.  STUDENTS:  NO OPEN TOE SHOES/SANDALS TO BE WORN IN THE KITCHEN.  FOR SAFETY PURPOSES.  THANK YOU.
